I’m extremely disappointed by the recent incident where a swarm of traveling bees resting on a shopping cart was reportedly sprayed with Raid and killed by staff. This was unnecessary and deeply troubling. What makes this worse is that Lowe’s publicly claims in its sustainability policy that it aims to make “thoughtful and responsible choices” and recognizes the importance of protecting “natural resources and ecosystems.” Bees are essential pollinators, and a resting swarm is typically non-aggressive and can be easily relocated by a local beekeeper. Killing them contradicts the very environmental responsibility Lowe’s says it stands for. Lowe’s also states it is committed to helping customers “live more sustainably.” Destroying an entire swarm of pollinators instead of using humane relocation methods does the opposite and sends a concerning message about how sustainability is actually practiced at the store level. Because of this, I’ve lost trust in this location and will be reconsidering where I shop. I hope Lowe’s provides clear guidance to employees on humane handling of bee swarms and aligns store practices with the sustainability commitments it publicly promotes.

I love Lowe’s! This is the best place to shop when you join their rewards program.

Store is great but some of the cashiers are not so great. Older cashiers really nice some of the younger girl cashiers need desperate help with their customer service skills. Turn around seems pretty high here as far as the cashiers go. Other than that I have no complaints about the store itself.
